We will be corporately participating in the Daniel Fast—see the information below for details. \nWe will not be meeting for in-person prayer; however\, each day at 9 a.m.\, 12 p.m.\, and 3 p.m.\, we invite everyone to pray in the Spirit and take time for personal prayer. \nDaniel Fast Information \nFOODS TO EAT \n\nWhole grains: Amaranth\, barley\, brown rice\, buckwheat\, bulgur\, freekeh\, millet\, oats\, purple rice\, quinoa\, rye\, sorghum\, spelt\, teff\, whole-grain pasta\, whole wheat\, and wild rice.\nBeans and legumes: Black beans\, black-eyed peas\, cannellini beans\, garbanzo beans (chickpeas)\, Great Northern beans\, kidney beans\, lentils\, peanuts\, pinto beans\, and split peas.\nNuts and seeds: Almonds\, Brazil nuts\, cashews\, hazelnuts\, macadamia nuts\, nut butters\, peanuts (technically legumes but commonly considered nuts)\, pecans\, pepitas (pumpkin seeds)\, pine nuts\, pistachios\, poppy seeds\, walnuts\, sesame seeds\, soy nuts\, and sunflower seeds.\nVegetables: All vegetables are allowed (fresh\, frozen\, dried\, juiced\, or canned).\nFruit: All fruit is allowed (fresh\, frozen\, dried\, juiced\, or canned). While we are dedicated to supporting families in need\, we are unable to accommodate every request. This year\, we will select 25 families for our Holiday Assistance Program. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. The selection committee will carefully review all online applications submitted by the deadline. Any applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered. NO paper applications will be accepted. \nApplications must be submitted by Sunday\, November 16\, 2025. LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. \nHoliday Program Rules \n1. All families requesting assistance must complete the 2025 Application for Holiday Assistance and have all completed documentation submitted by November 16\, 2025. \n2. The Older and Wiser Ministry\, may request documentation of families selected to receive assistance to provide guardianship or documentation that all children are residing under your care and proof of residence.
